Celebrity Millennium | May 13–26, 2027 (13 nights)

Experience Japan from several very different perspectives on this 13-night journey aboard Celebrity Millennium, beginning in Tokyo and traveling south through Japan before crossing to South Korea. With calls in eight Japanese ports, an overnight stay in Osaka, three sea days, and time in both Busan and Seoul, this itinerary offers an unusually comprehensive introduction to the region without the need to change hotels every few days.

Begin in Tokyo before sailing to Shimizu, where clear weather may provide views of iconic Mount Fuji. From there, the itinerary continues to Osaka for an overnight stay and the opportunity to explore Kyoto, Japan’s former imperial capital and home to 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Continue through Kochi and Hiroshima before traveling farther south to Nagasaki, Kumamoto and Fukuoka. Each region offers its own history, cuisine and character, providing a much broader look at Japan than travelers experience by visiting Tokyo and Kyoto alone. 

The final portion of the cruise brings you to South Korea, beginning with a full day in Busan before a relaxing day at sea en route to Seoul. Because this is a one-way itinerary from Tokyo to Seoul, it also lends itself particularly well to a longer vacation. Adding several nights in Tokyo before embarkation and Seoul after disembarkation allows time to experience both cities beyond what would be possible during a traditional cruise port visit.

Celebrity Millennium is a smaller, more intimate ship than many of today’s newest cruise vessels, carrying approximately 2,200 guests. Between days ashore, relax in the adults-only Solarium, visit the spa, enjoy ocean views from the Sunset Bar, or choose from dining venues including Tuscan Grille and Sushi on Five. Three sea days are distributed throughout the itinerary, providing welcome time aboard between several consecutive days of exploring Japan and South Korea.

Viking Hnoss | June 19–26, 2027 (7 nights) with optional Pre-cruise extension in Amsterdam

Sail through the heart of Europe on this seven-night Rhine River journey aboard Viking Hnoss, traveling from Amsterdam to Basel through the Netherlands, Germany and France. Along the way, experience historic cities, medieval towns, vineyard-covered hills and the castle-lined Middle Rhine, with the ease of unpacking once while the scenery and destinations come to you.

Begin in Amsterdam, with the option to arrive several days before the cruise and spend more time exploring one of Europe’s most distinctive cities. Wander along its canals and through historic neighborhoods, visit the Anne Frank House or Van Gogh Museum, sample Dutch specialties on a walking food tour, or see the city from the water on a canal cruise before boarding Viking Hnoss on June 19.

From Amsterdam, sail to Kinderdijk, home to 19 remarkably preserved 18th-century windmills and a landscape shaped by centuries of Dutch water management. Continue into Germany with a visit to Cologne, where the city’s soaring Gothic cathedral dominates the skyline, followed by Koblenz and a scenic passage through the UNESCO-listed Middle Rhine. This stretch of the river is one of the highlights of the journey, with steep vineyard-covered hills, centuries-old castles and the legendary Lorelei Rock lining the route.

Farther south, explore Speyer and its impressive Romanesque cathedral before crossing into France for Strasbourg, where French and German influences come together in the half-timbered buildings, canals and cuisine of the Alsace region. The final full day brings you to Breisach, a gateway to Germany’s Black Forest and the wine-growing regions along the French-German border, before arriving in Basel on June 26.

River cruising offers a very different way to experience Europe than a traditional ocean cruise. Viking Hnoss carries fewer than 200 guests, allowing the ship to dock close to the historic centers of many destinations. Celebrity Eclipse | August 1 – 8, 2027 (7 nights) with optional Pre-cruise & Post-cruise extensions in Amsterdam & Belgium

Begin this summer journey with several days in Amsterdam before setting sail for the dramatic landscapes of Norway aboard Celebrity Eclipse. With time to actually experience Amsterdam, a seven-night Norwegian Fjords cruise, and the option to continue into Belgium after the cruise, this trip combines some of Northern Europe’s most interesting cities with one of its most spectacular coastlines.

Arrive in Amsterdam on July 28 and settle in for four nights in the city before the cruise. Rather than simply flying in and heading directly to the ship, we’ll have time to explore Amsterdam’s canals, neighborhoods, museums and food scene. Optional experiences may include a walking food tour, canal cruise, the Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank House, along with plenty of time to discover the city at your own pace.

On August 1, board Celebrity Eclipse for a seven-night roundtrip sailing from Amsterdam with four stops along Norway’s western coast: Haugesund, Olden, Ålesund and Stavanger. The itinerary offers a mix of small coastal cities, Viking history and the scenery Norway is famous for, from mountains and waterfalls to fjords and glaciers. In Olden, venture toward Briksdal Glacier or explore the Nordfjord region. Ålesund is known for its distinctive Art Nouveau architecture and access to some of Norway’s most dramatic scenery, while Stavanger combines a colorful historic waterfront with opportunities to experience Lysefjord and Pulpit Rock.

Two sea days provide time to enjoy Celebrity Eclipse before & after your days of exploring Norway. The ship carries approximately 2,850 guests and offers the adults-only Solarium, spa, Lawn Club, multiple restaurants and bars, live entertainment and plenty of places to simply relax and watch the scenery go by.

For those who aren’t quite ready to head home when we return to Amsterdam, we’re also exploring an optional four-night post-cruise extension into Belgium. Current plans include traveling by train to Antwerp and using the additional time to experience Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges before departing for the United States from Brussels on August 12. This extension is still being developed, but it offers an easy way to turn the cruise into a longer Northern European vacation without adding another flight between destinations.

Viking Saturn | January 6–20, 2028 (14 nights)

Journey from Athens to Barcelona on this 14-night Mediterranean voyage aboard Viking Saturn, visiting six countries and an impressive collection of ancient cities, historic ports and coastal destinations along the way. With calls throughout Greece, Turkey, Italy, Tunisia and Spain, plus two relaxing days at sea, this itinerary offers an opportunity to experience several very different regions of the Mediterranean in one journey.

Begin in Athens, where Viking Saturn remains in port for a full day to explore the Greek capital and its ancient treasures before sailing for Turkey. In Kusadasi, step back thousands of years with the opportunity to visit the remarkably preserved ruins of Ephesus before continuing to Crete. After a day sailing the Ionian Sea, the journey turns toward Italy for an especially port-intensive stretch of the voyage.

Explore Messina and nearby Taormina before continuing to Naples, gateway to Pompeii, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. A long day in Civitavecchia provides access to Rome, followed by Salerno for another opportunity to experience the Amalfi Coast or the ancient Greek temples of Paestum. From there, continue to Palermo, Sicily’s historic capital, before crossing the Mediterranean to North Africa.

In Tunisia, explore from La Goulette with opportunities to discover Tunis, the ancient ruins of Carthage and the blue-and-white village of Sidi Bou Said. The following day brings an extended stay in Cagliari on the Italian island of Sardinia, with time to experience both the historic city and its Mediterranean coastline. After a final day at sea, arrive in Valencia for one last day of exploration before concluding the voyage in Barcelona.
